After
graduation from UA I attended Rio Grande College in southeast Ohio
where I majored in Communications. I married classmate Terry
Nentwich in 1979 in Columbus. We live in UA.
Our daughter Jordan is attending Columbus State and is an
artist in the field of “hard glass” also known as Lamp
Working. She makes
jewelry, beads, pendants and necklaces.
It is amazing to watch her work.
Terry is the President of the American Chemical Society Federal
Credit Union with Offices in Columbus and Washington DC. Travel to
and from Washington DC has been interesting to say the least,
especially right after September 11. She has been with the
Credit Union since 1986 and was with the Franklin County Teachers
Federal Credit Union before that. She graduated from
Franklin University with a degree in Business Administration.
I have two basically full time jobs. I work with
classmate Chris Laver in the Financial Planning, Insurance and
Investment field as Director of Operations for Christian Laver
& Associates/Lincoln Financial Advisors. Chris and I
have worked together for over 23 years and probably will forever.
I am also a Realtor with Brokers and Associates, Inc. Realtors
with offices in Grandview Heights. I have had my license
since 1988 and love Real Estate. I was with Jean Young and
the Apple Company Realtors for most of my career until Jean's
death in 2003. I work all over Franklin County with both
Buyers and Sellers.
I just finished my 28th Vaud-Villities Production. If you
are not aware of V-V, it is the nation’s longest running and
largest amateur variety musical performance, based in Columbus.
I started in 1977 and have never quit. Terry joined me about
10 years ago and Jordan joined the cast as an intern last year.
The show takes place every April at Vets Memorial and is a BLAST!
Terry, Jordan and I love to travel and make a point of taking at
least one family vacation a year, normally to Florida. Terry
and I plan on becoming "snow birds" when we retire,
setting up residence in Florida in the Fall and Winter and coming
back to UA in the Spring and Summer. We both HATE COLD
WEATHER!!!
That is our lives since High School in a couple lines. We
have had great fun working on the last four reunions and can't
wait to see everyone this year!
