Long time no see, and I'm so sorry I
didn't go to the 25th. I let other plans get in the way, and then
wished I hadn't .Oh well, maybe the 30th will work. I just want to
thank you for striving to keep folks in touch. I really enjoyed seeing
the pictures on line from the reunion, it's kinda fun and frustrating
trying to figure out who everyone is !!
Just a few things that will update my
info. I married Marty Gilbride (class of 73) in 77, so we will be
celebrating our 23rd anniversary this Saturday. I was a senior when we
started dating, but he was at Miami, so I guess we don't qualify as
being high school sweethearts. I also went to Miami, but after 2
years, we got married and soon started our family. We have 2
daughters. Erin (21) just graduated from OU in June and will return
for her MBA in August. Her sister Megan (19) will be a sophomore at
Miami this year. We lived in Marion, OH until 1992 when we moved to
Cleveland, more specifically Willoughby Hills on the east side. Marty
was with Eaton Corp in Marion, and is still a manufacturing engineer
with them now, after 20 years. I was able to stay home with the girls
til they were about 8 and 10. Since then I have done several part time
jobs, but for the last year and a half I've been working as a dental
assistant and loving it. Never would I have guessed that's what I'd be
doing, but I find the work interesting, and the hours are great.
Leaves plenty of time for enjoying all this area has to offer
such as: hiking in the Metroparks, golfing, jazzercising, the
Tribe, the lake, etc. We love it here.
That's about all for now. I hope to be
able to read about others real soon. Thanks again for all your
efforts.
