BREWER Darla A. Brewer, age 59, passed away after her courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on June 8, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio to Donald and Daisy (Boothe) Valtz. Darla was a very loving mother. She will be greatly missed by her two sons, Nathan and Jacob Brewer; mother, Daisy Valtz; siblings, Donald Valtz, Douglas Valtz and Daisy (Bo) Fallon; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Valtz; and her companion, Jamie Bell. Darla was a 1975 graduate of Upper Arlington High School. She earned a Bachelor's Degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. She worked as an administrative assistant at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Darla loved the beach and enjoyed fishing. She was outgoing and had a huge heart for caring for other people. Family will receive friends 12-1 PM on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at First Community Church, 1320 Cambridge Boulevard, Columbus, Ohio 43212, where a funeral service will follow at 1PM. Columbus, Ohio. Brooks Todd R. Brooks, 57, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014. Todd was born in Columbus, OH on February 13, 1957, to Dr. Keith and Laquata (Walters) Brooks and is preceded in death by his father and his favorite feline companion, "Freeway". Todd is survived by his mother; brother, Craig (Cindy) Brooks; nephew, Andrew Brooks; niece, Dana Brooks; aunt, Zell (Woody) Richards and family. Todd had a "Bucket List" before he passed and his friends helped complete this list by spending time with him. Todd's family would like to thank all of them for their support and kindness.
