Paul Falkenbach
1957 - 2022
Paul M. Falkenbach, passed away at the age of 64 on Sunday, January 16, surrounded by family after a short, intense battle with cancer. Paul was born July 29, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio and was preceded in death by parents George J. and Josephine Black Falkenbach. Paul was a 1975 graduate of Upper Arlington High School, and a proud 1980 alumnus of The Ohio State University. Paul was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. His dedication to the fraternity he loved and served for 45 years positively impacted the lives of many young men. He concluded his successful sales and marketing career as Vice President and National Sales Manager for National Sign Systems, Inc. in Hilliard, OH. A parishioner of St Agatha Church, Paul regularly served as a lector and greeter. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus and was the Grand Knight of the St. Agatha Council at the time of his passing. Paul was greatly loved and will be passionately missed by his wife, Melissa; daughters, Erin Marie and Sarah Grace; and dog, Josie. He will also be missed by his best friend and brother, George (Lisa Heatherington); loving sisters, Mary (Michael) Manoloff and Joan (Terry) Moore; his nieces and nephews, special cousins, and many other, much loved family members. Paul will also be missed by a close circle of dear friends, his many beloved Delt brothers and their families. Paul was the penultimate sports enthusiast. He enjoyed attending OSU football games and was a fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Miami Dolphins. He enjoyed playing golf and the many rounds he played with his golf partners over the years. Family will receive friends Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 2-5PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Rd. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10AM Monday, January 24, 2022 at St Agatha Church, 1860 Northam Rd. Father Mark Summers, Celebrant. Private interment at St Joseph Cemetery at a later date. The family would like to thank The James Cancer Hospital, especially the unwavering support of Dr. Regan Memmott and the thoracic oncology team, and the loving care provided by the nurses to Paul and his family.
