Rebecca Sue Yoder, age 49, of Columbus, died Thursday, May 18, 2006 at Riverside Methodist Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Columbus on January 28, 1957 to the late Ralph and Marie (Smith) Yoder. She is survived by her sister, Cynthia Yoder of Columbus; step-mother, Miriam Yoder of Columbus; step-sister, Catherine McMichael Bieber (Rod) of Saginaw, MI; step-brother, Thomas McMichael (Joni) of Sugar Land, TX; 4 step-nieces and nephews; uncles, Orie Yoder (Eldrith) of Medina, OH and Ross Hartzler of Smithville, OH; aunt, Valeda Yoder Bezanson of Fort Myers, FL; and many cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her aunt Grace Hartzler and by her uncle Paul Yoder. A life-long Upper Arlington resident, Rebecca graduated from Upper Arlington High School in 1975 and attended The Ohio State University. She worked for 28 years at Nationwide Insurance Company. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Monday at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at Mountview Baptist Church, 2140 Fishinger Road, Columbus. Reverend Carl Brown officiating. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville, OH.
